GPS Gold Challenge – Calling 1983 & 1984 Old Boys
The GPS Gold Challenge is held every two years, over the October long weekend, for Old Boys of the 9 GPS schools, making it the largest Old Boys’ event in Australia.
The Challenge will be a “double header” with Old Boys from Alumni 1983 and 1984 competing across ten disciplines: golf, shooting, rowing, tennis, cricket, basketball, touch rugby, athletics, swimming and debating. The Challenge culminates with a not to be missed ‘Closing Dinner’ where over 600 GPS Old Boys will enjoy an evening of good food, camaraderie and the hilarious debating topic. The shooting and Golfing competitions are on Friday 30 September and all other competitions and the Closing Dinner are on Saturday 1 October 2016.
So, dust off the runners, plan your fitness regime, book your physio and get ready to relive the ancient rivalries and good times of your school days.
