Class of 2018 – North America Bound
The Class of 2018 has really embraced international study with five Old Boys accepting offers at American and Canadian universities. We wish them all the very best for their studies.
Brandon Freire (ON 2018) has been awarded a Basketball Scholarship to St Martin’s University, Lacey, WA. Whilst at St Martin’s Brandon intends studying Exercise Science and Kinesiology.
Matur Maluach (ON 2018) has signed a Letter of Intent with the University of New Brunswick, Canada to play Basketball in their team, the “Reds”.
Darcy McDonald (ON 2018) has been awarded a scholarship to New School University, New York, NY to study music specialising in jazz guitar.
Reed Nottage (ON 2018) has accepted an offer of a full Basketball Scholarship at California Baptist University (CBU) a Division 1 NCAA College.
Alexander Potter (ON 2018) is off to Yale. Alexander chose Yale because of it’s outstanding rowing programme. Alexander is still considering his area of study, it could possibly be Economics.
Additionally, three 2018 Old Boys are off to England to study. Nolan Whitcomb, William Mai and Jeno Suh have all been offered places at Oxford University. This is a fantastic achievement and comes after a rigorous selection process. Jeno will study Computer Science and Philosophy, Nolan will study History and Economics, and William will study a Bachelor of Arts in Jurisprudence. Likewise, we wish them all the best with their studies.
