Remembering distinguished Old Boys – Bryan Rugby Palmer (ON 1946)
Bryan Palmer passed away on 10 June 2017. Bryan played Rugby for New South Wales in 1950. He attended both Newington and The King’s School. The Bryan Palmer Shield has been contested each year by The King’s School and Newington since 1970, being the Centenary of the first school boy Rugby match played in Australia.
