The ONU in 2020

2020 will be a very special year for the ONU.  All Old Boys are invited to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the ONU.  If you are unable to return to Sydney for the ONU Annual Dinner, the ONU invites you to have your own celebration and share your images.  We are asking all Old Boys to gather with those close by and raise a glass in honour of 125 years.

Please send through images of your celebration to alumni@newington.nsw.edu.au

Thank you Robert (Bob) Young (ON 1960)

A special thank you to Bob Young (ON 1960) for his contribution as a Board Member for the AIS USA Foundation.  Bob was a foundation member of the Board and the College thanks him for his efforts over the years.

Bob joined with other Newington Old Boys to establish the AIS USA Foundation originally known as the Newington USA Foundation.  The Foundation was established in 2006 to provide the means for US based Old Boys and those working for international firms to donate to the College in a tax effective way.

The Foundation Board of Trustees has included four distinguished Newington Old Boys:

Ian Diery (ON 1967) Woodside, California, USA

Ian Thomas (ON 1963) Vancouver, Canada (retired from Board in 2018)

Dr Peter Green (ON 1964) New York, New York, USA (retired from Board in 2018)

Bob Young (ON 1960) New York, New York, USA (retired from Board in 2019)

For North American Old Boys you can make a donation to the College via the  AIS USA Foundation.  To make a donation, please click here.

On behalf of the College, the Office of Community & Development would like to thank you Bob for his support and efforts in providing opportunities for boys to receive a Newington education.
