Student Services
Congratulations to all the boys and parents who supported the Red Shield Appeal on Sunday 20 May. Around 200 Year 10-12 boys volunteered a few hours of their time to collect on behalf of the Salvation Army and raised just under $20,000. This was despite erratic weather and an overall decline in collections across Sydney. Well done to all!
Senior School
Year 12
Boys doing the HSC course will have received marks and feedback from their recent Mini Examinations. There will be good news and some disappointments however it is most important to focus on how each boy moves forward with their studies in the time remaining. Success now does not guarantee future success and disappointments can be overcome. Key staff assistance is available to each boy from their classroom teacher, mentor, Head of House, Careers Coordinator and Mr Comino. Boys doing the IB have examinations in the near future and need to adhere to a similar approach when results become available.
Year 11
A reminder that the parent teacher evening is being held on Monday 18 June for Year 11!
Term 2 is an important time for Year 11 boys to step up and show that they are worthy of becoming a strong school leadership group in 2013. From the beginning of Term 3 they will be given an opportunity to become acting House Prefects and commence duties. Final selections for School and House Leadership positions will take place at that time and will be based on performance in these roles and in the school community. All students in the Senior School and staff will have a voice in these selections.
