Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope you have enjoyed the term break, whether it was spent holidaying, working or just enjoying the change of pace and routine of the school week.
The end of Term 3 was a very busy time at the College and culminated in Valedictory Day where we bid farewell to our Year 12 boys. An important tradition is announcing our Senior Leaders for the following year. I would like to congratulate the 2019 Senior Leaders on their appointment: Mark Elwaw (Senior Prefect), Ben Leung (Deputy Senior Prefect), Jack Walker (Deputy Senior Prefect), Angus Webster (Senior Boarding Prefect) and the eight House Captains – Kieran Corcoran (Fletcher), Marcus Pham (Kelynack), Andrew Wang (Le Couteur), Max Hochuli (Johnstone), Angus Waldon (Manton), Angus Beer (Metcalfe), Finn Hoegh-Guldberg (Moulton) and Sam Bencsik (Prescott). I know these boys and the entire Year 12 cohort of 2019 will do a fine job following on from our 2018 leaders.
I would like to acknowledge the mature and dedicated approach our Year 12 boys are taking regarding their studies at this time. We have seen many of them at the College during the holidays, sitting practice examinations, attending revision seminars run by their teachers or studying in the library. We wish them well for their HSC and IB exams which commence 18 October and 29 October respectively.
I look forward to seeing all boys in Years 7–11 next Monday 15 October when Term 4 commences.
