Dear Parents and Guardians,

On Wednesday we held our Academic Excellence Assembly and acknowledged the outstanding HSC and IBDP results by the Year 12 2014 class.  Our guest speaker, Mr Ben Adler (ON 2009) gave a stirring address and reminded the boys that they are the ‘author of their own lives’.  He encouraged the boys to learn from their mistakes, embrace every opportunity before them at Newington and not be afraid to stand up and make a difference. 

I am exceptionally proud of our boys, the staff and wider college community for the way in which we have presented ourselves this past week.  We are most certainly united in our purpose. My sincere thanks to all.
