Dear Parents and Guardians,

At assembly this week our P&F President, Mr Andrew Loveridge, officially opened our Literature Festival. Our guest speaker, Will Kostakis (ON 2006) encouraged the boys to foster a love of literature when he said ‘Reading does more than improve your marks, it broadens your horizons, opens your eyes to different worlds and the same world from different perspectives’. Will’s message resonates even more when one acknowledges that literature is linked to a deeper understanding of our human condition.

I thank the P&F for their generous support of this immensely important initiative.  I also thank Mrs Ann Jagger and her LitFest Executive for all their hard work and vision with our 7th Biennial Literature Festival.
