Dear Parents and Guardians,

Congratulations to those boys who received Colours at our Creative Arts Assembly yesterday. These boys were awarded Colours for their significant contribution to the School Musical, as well as the many Drama productions and Music events. Also at assembly the winners of the P&F Visual Arts Acquisition Prize were announced. Congratulations to Ben Serone (11/MA) and Anton Fichtenmaier (10/MO) for equal second, and George Burley (11/KL) for first prize.

I urge all parents to visit the HSC Visual Arts & Design and Technology Showcase Exhibition ‘Lines of Inquiry’ at Concordia Gallery. It is a wonderful display of HSC major works and I commend all boys for their creative flair, and thank our staff for their support of the boys through this creative process. The exhibition is open from Wednesdays to Saturdays, 12.00pm-4.00pm until Saturday 27 August.

The last round of winter sport is this weekend. I would like to thank all coaches, managers, ground staff and volunteers for all their support, and the many hours they have contributed to making the season a success. I would also like to thank the boys for the exemplary way they have represented the school and I wish them good luck for the last round.
