Dear Parents and Guardians,

Yesterday we held our Co-curricular Winter Awards and Colours Assembly and what a wonderful celebration it was. I congratulate all boys for their hard work, dedication and commitment to their respective sports, and their individual and team achievements. May I take this opportunity to sincerely thank all the Directors of the various sports for their tireless organisation and commitment to ensuring a successful season. The task has been enormous and I know the boys have appreciated all they have done.

I must also thank all the Captains – Jeremi Campese (Athletics), Cedric Koh (Chess), Thomas Naayen (Cross Country), Alexander Goth (Debating), Harrison Saunders (Fencing), Samuel Mehmet (Football), Fletcher Howell (Rifle Shooting), Thomas Serhon (Rugby) and Lachlan Garner (Volleyball) for their leadership and support over the winter season. They have certainly represented the Black and White army proudly each week. A special mention must also go to Nathan Lawson and Christian Poidevin who achieved Colours across four sports this year.

Next week the Year 9-10 boys (and Year 11 and 12 leaders) will be participating in the Cadets and Newington Challenge camps and I wish them a safe and enjoyable experience.
