Dear Parents and Guardians,

I would like to welcome back, and thank all staff and students who travelled overseas during the break and represented Newington College with distinction. Our tour groups who have arrived back safely have many wonderful stories to share, and we are certain this will be the case when the Modern History Tour returns this weekend.

I had the privilege of going to Tonga and spending some time at Tupou College with their staff, students and our touring party of musicians, rugby players and Service Learning boys. This experience certainly opened my eyes and helped strengthen my relationship with our Tupou College brothers. We are embarking on a plan to support them as they look to increase the rigor of their academic program.

It has been wonderful to see so many of the senior boys on campus during the break working with teachers in preparation for the IB and HSC exams. 

We look forward to seeing all the boys on Monday, well rested, with neat haircuts and ready for a fun and eventful term.
