Dear Parents and Guardians,

Last Friday the boys participated in National Bandanna Day and raised significant funds for CanTeen which supports young people living with cancer. What a great effort from the boys and my thanks go to all those who supported this worthy cause. That same evening over 70 guests attended a fundraiser for the ‘Chris Wild Indigenous Bursary’. Newington is truly blessed with diversity and the challenge to extend this privilege to all remains a high priority for Council.

I wish all the boys in Years 7 to 10 every success and good fortune as they prepare and sit their current end of year examinations. As I constantly remind my class ‘if you fail to plan, you plan to fail’.
