Dear Parents and Guardians,
On Wednesday evening we launched the Dr Ian Penn (ON 70) Exhibition: It started in Manildra. The exhibition is being held in the Concordia Gallery and is open from 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm until the 26th May. The exhibition also includes work from our Year 11 IB students who worked collaboratively with Dr Penn.
Also on Wednesday we held our Year 7-12 Campus Tour for future families. As I walked around our campus with my tour group I was reminded of the wonderful resources our boys have access to. From the Johnson and Buchanan Ovals, to the science super labs, drama centre, modern library and our Tupou College Year 7 centre. Boys from Year 10, 11 and 12 spoke proudly and honestly about their schools and I thank them for the mature and thoughtful advice they offered to the parents of the future Newington students.
Congratulations to the boys who were awarded House Honour Colours at assembly. Their significant achievements were appropriately recognised by their peers and College staff.
