Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are fast moving towards the end of Term 3 and there continues to be so much to celebrate.  This week at assembly we recognised the outstanding academic achievements of Addison Eastway (8/MO) who was awarded equal 1^st place NSW in the Australian Geography Competition, Adrian Lo (9/LE) who was awarded 1^st place in the UNSW Maths Competition and Kenny Chen (11/FL) and Thomas Newham (10/MA) who were both awarded Credits in the same competition.

The following Year 12 boys were awarded their house honour colours: Mitchell Fitzsimmons (12/FL), Petro Kaloterakis (12/FL), Edwin Hooper (12/JN), Chris Thomas (12/JN), Kenzo Jeanson (12/KL), Justin Ly (12/LE), Evan Favos (12/ME) and Simon Giordano (12/MO).  This award is made in recognition of their citizenship, co-curricular contribution and service to the community.

Alex Humphreys (11/JN) shared the highlights of the Red Centre Tour which took place last July.   According to Alex “The biggest moral from the trip was the importance of family”. He said the experience highlighted the importance of looking after your friends and working together to achieve goals.  We were then entertained with a comedic clip of the boys enjoying the culinary delights of the witchetty grub – apparently a highlight of the tour.
