From the Head of Stanmore
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The last week of Term 4 has arrived. On Monday, the 155th Annual Prize Giving ceremony will be held at Sydney Town Hall, commencing at 10:00 AM. The boys will need to make their own way to the venue and are asked to go straight home at the conclusion of the ceremony if they are not with their parents.
Boys are reminded that on Monday we will be on show to the broader community, and as always, our boys must ensure they are clean shaven, their haircuts are up to the College standards and their uniforms are immaculate.
Next week is a compulsory school week, and boys are expected to attend classes until Thursday. On Thursday, 7 December, Years 7 – 10 will be dismissed by their Head of House in Period 4 and Year 11 will be dismissed at 3:20 PM.
To celebrate our 50-year relationship with Alliance Catering (Spotless), they will be holding a Sausage Sizzle for the boy’s tomorrow, Friday, 1 December. We ask that the boys make a gold coin donation, with the proceeds going to Tupou College – your support will be appreciated.
Finally, a reminder that we are still collecting quality non-perishable food, and gifts for people of all ages on behalf of the Exodus Foundation – please give generously.
Enjoy your weekend and I look forward to seeing you all at Prize Giving.
