Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope you have enjoyed the change of pace during the term break, whether it was spent holidaying, working or just taking a break from the routine of the school week.
The end of Term 3 culminated in an uplifting Valedictory Day where we farewelled our Year 12 boys. An important tradition on the day is announcing our Senior Leaders for the following year. I would like to congratulate Woojin Lee (Senior Prefect), Max Langford (Deputy Senior Prefect), Nicolas Yule (Deputy Senior Prefect), Sam Lye (Edmund Webb Boarding House Captain) on their appointments for 2020, along with our eight House Captains – Rhett Schlaphoff (Fletcher), Dhruv Kumar (Johnstone), Lachlan Eyles (Kelynack), Nicholas Bulley (Le Couteur), Peter Pontifix (Manton), Miles Agius (Metcalfe) Felix Laubi (Moulton) and Zack McGeechan (Prescott).
It is great to see the mature and dedicated approach our Year 12 boys are taking to their studies as they approach their exams. Many of them have been at the College during the holidays sitting practice examinations, attending revision seminars run by their teachers and studying in the library. We wish them well for their HSC and IB exams, which start on 21 October and 4 November respectively.
Term 4 commences on Monday 14 October for boys in Years 7-10. Boys in Year 11 (Year 12 2020) return to classes on Tuesday 15 October.
We ask that the boys are clean shaven with neat and tidy haircuts and polished shoes, and that they leave any holiday jewellery at home.
I look forward to the start of Term 4 2019.
