Dear parents and guardians,
The College is back in full swing. The boys are on the ovals training in the mornings and afternoons – and ignoring the cold. Congratulations to our Winter Sports Captains (pictured above): Alistair Shaw – Captain of Fencing; Jack Croll – Captain of Volleyball; Dhruv Kumar – Captain of Cross Country; Rex Quail – Captain of AFL; Thomas McCoubrie – Captain of Football; Will Morgan – Captain of Rifle Shooting and Mack Fell – Captain of Rugby.
Our Zoom parent/teacher interview format has been well received by parents and guardians and we look forward to Year 8 interviews next Tuesday. There are many positives in using this format – no room searches or parking stress and the ability to have more frank and clear discussions in a quiet and private space – but we did miss the opportunity to speak face to face and for you, as parents, to connect with other parents in your son’s year group. We are grateful for all the feedback we have received and will take this into consideration when do our planning for 2021.
Tomorrow the boys will be dismissed from class after Period 4. All year groups will run a normal timetable for periods 3 and 4 with Year 7-9 finishing at 12.40pm and Years 10-12 finishing at 12.50pm. Boys wishing to take the school bus home are welcome to stay on campus until 3.20pm. The library will remain open until 5.00pm.
Enjoy the long weekend. We look forward to seeing all the boys back on campus on Tuesday morning.
