Over the last couple of weeks two whole school events have epitomised the community spirit and good will that exists throughout our school community. Tuesday’s French Day was a fantastic day celebrating and learning about the French culture and language. A huge thanks goes to Madame Pixton for her organisation and creativity. It was brilliant to watch the boys engage in a wide variety of French activities including the eating at the Café, Art, Music and PE activities and French computer games. It was also great to be able to welcome so many parents to the afternoon’s plays and presentations.

The Year 6 Fair which was held a couple of weeks ago was also a tremendous event that allowed the Year 6 boys to demonstrate leadership and to serve the other boys by creating a range of fun-filled activities. After spending so much time planning and preparing for the day, it was great to see smiles on all of the boys faces. The Year 6 boys, under the leadership of Mr C, should be extremely proud of their efforts.

Lindfield is certainly a special place. Events like these reinforce this and aid the ongoing development of a positive learning culture.
