3-6 Artist of the Week

This weeks ‘Artist of the Week’ comes from Year 5. In Term 1 the boys created ‘Historical Selfies’ using a variety of different materials and techniques. They used images of landowners, convicts, soldiers and sailors to recreate themselves. They were able to make use of modern day materials and ideas to make a phone cover. It was great to see such good craftsmanship in this first piece for the year, and to see some great research skills when finding Australian historical images.
