As part of the STEM curriculum, Year 4 students travelled to Luna Park to explore the world of Physics, Technology, Engineering and Maths. They were able to experience first-hand push and pull forces and how each affect movement. Throughout the day, students observed and recorded the effects of friction by venturing on the Hair Raiser, Wild Mouse and Dodgem cars. At the conclusion of the term, students designed and constructed a ride or an amusement game from recycled material. The Year 4 staff and students, appreciated the wonderful assistance of the parent helpers during this action packed day.
