On Wednesday this week we started our ‘Nude Food Wednesday’. There were mixed successes with quite a bit of culprit cling wrap and many mean zip lock bags present in lunch boxes. However, overall there continues to be big improvement in the lack of single use wrapping at Wyvern. Some families are Nude Fooding every day, which is truly outstanding. Here are a few photos of some families that got it right. Also at this time Year 3 and 4 are trialling a new compost system and filling tubs at a steady rate for our large new compost bin. The concept of food waste collection to create compost will be rolled out soon to all year groups once the trial in Year 3 and 4 is evaluated. Just a reminder it is ‘Clean Up Australia Day’ on Friday 28 February.
