Wyvern have had a busy fortnight of musical performances!

Jazz Band

On Sunday 4th August the Wyvern Jazz band competed at the NSW School Bands Festival. They played incredibly well and are to be congratulated for being awarded silver in the Ed Wilson Primary School Open Big Band Event.

Concerto Competition

On Monday 5th August, three Year 6 boys – Mark Chen, Callum Stewart and Simon Jeon competed in the junior Years 6 – 9 Concerto competition at the Senior School Campus. All played their pieces with great style and musical maturity. Special congratulation s to both Simon and Mark who received highly commended awards for their performances. This is quite an achievement considering they were competing against boys in the senior school.

Strings Factory

Our Strings Factory delighted teachers, students and parents with their performance in the K – 2 Assembly last Friday. For many boys this was their first performance as part of the ensemble and they should be very proud of their achievements.
