Weeks 7 and 8
K – 2
Hunter Fadel – Kindergarten
Hunter listened to the story of The Old Man’s Mitten. He was then able to cut out paper mittens and decorate them with woolly patterns using oil pastel. Hunter finished the work with an Edicol dye wash.
Mitchell Cope – Year 2
After exploring the containers and plant shapes and colours in the Kitchen Garden, Mitchell was able to draw a picture of it. He made effective use of expressive line using water colour paint to complete his work.

Years 3 – 6
Callum Latham and Thomas Billingham – Year 3
Following Year 3’s excursion to Sydney Harbour and the drawing activities they undertook on site, the Year 3 boys created vibrant paper collages. They experimented with colour mixing to paint a range of secondary and tertiary colours onto paper, then cut and pasted many different textured, printed and metallic papers to add interest and detail to their artworks. The boys also explored techniques to suggest distance and perspective in their collages.
