In the last 2 weeks we have been treated to two wonderful creative and practical art events featuring our very talented Wyvern students. The Wyvern Choir performed superbly well at last week’s Founder’s Concert and certainly did not look out of place amongst the elite ensembles of the Senior School. Bravo for contributing to such an outstanding concert.

Secondly, this week art works from our Kindergarten, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 and Year 6 students have been on display as part of the Wyvern Biennale Art Exhibition at the Concordia Gallery. It has been wonderful to see such an impressive range of creative and skilful work exhibited in a professional setting. My thanks to the hard working P&F Creative Arts Group, as well as our talented Art teachers, Ms Buining and Mrs Bourke for their wonderful efforts in creating a very special event for Wyvern students and families.

Finally, congratulations to the Wyvern Futsal teams who competed this week in the NSW State Finals. Both teams played extremely well, with the 12’s Futsal team missing out narrowly on being awarded State Champions with a 4-2 loss in the final, an outstanding effort! The students represented Wyvern with great pride and demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship.
