On March 11, Year 2 visited the Royal Botanic Gardens to look for Mini Beasts. This term our science unit has been to understand the ‘Living World’ and to describe external features, changes and growth of living things. Year 2 boys did some digging and classifying of mini beasts. This was lots of fun, but hard work! Then Year 2 went in search of mini beasts in water. We ended our excursion looking at spiders and stingless bees. We thank all our parent helpers for coming along. The boys had a wonderful time at the gardens.
