Artists of the Week
K – 2 Artists of the Week
Kindegarten
Kindergarten investigated the artist Donatello and found out about his very famous sculpture of the Marzocco Lion – the symbol of Florence representing strength, power, fearlessness and bravery. They drew and painted their own lion to connect with their learning. Amazing work boys!

Year 2
Year 2 are working through a unit on Still Life. They are learning techniques based on observation and realism. George experimented with blending oil pastels and smudging with his finger to bring his apples to life. He created an effective colour wash background to complete his work. Amazing apples, George!
