A Message from Mr Holden
Over the last two weeks, in addition to busy classroom activities, there have been a number of diverse events where Wyvern boys have demonstrated excellence.
At last week’s Founder’s Concert, amongst the elite Senior School Ensembles, Wyvern’s growing Choir performed superbly well. On the sporting field, on Monday 28th July, Wyvern’s 11A rugby team played a touring team from the Kawanishi City Rugby School in Japan. Our boys played with great style and endeavour with great success; importantly the 11A team were magnificent hosts displaying great sportsmanship and friendship to our visitors.
At our last assembly I was delighted to recognise many students who have recently achieved ‘distinctions’ and ‘high distinctions’ in the ICAS Science and Computer Skills papers. It is so pleasing that so many boys have chosen to test themselves in the very challenging ICAS competition papers.
Finally, the K-2 students enjoyed their athletics carnival yesterday in spring like conditions. They particiapted in multiple events with much enthusiasm and energy…well done! Thank you to the many parents who made time to support all the boys.
