A Message from Mr Holden
Dear Parents,
I congratulate students on a smooth and settled start to the school year. I have especially been pleased to see new students making very good connections with Wyvern students and staff.
In our first assembly on Tuesday students were presented with special gifts to celebrate the College’s 150th year. Among these was a tie. Please note that the tie may be worn at any stage this year.
There are a number of extra curricular after school clubs and activities available for students. Please refer to the timetable and information in this newsletter. The majority of the clubs will start from week 3. All enquiries about clubs run by external providers should be made to the contact person advertised on the timetable and not Wyvern Office.
A reminder that OSH Club are offering Before and After School Care. Please use their website www.oshclub.com.au to book in. Students who are not attending an organised before school activity should arrive at school after 8.00am when the official staff supervision time starts.
Finally, I look forward to seeing many of you at the P&F Welcome Party in the Wyvern Gardens on Friday 1 February from 6.00pm. Can I please ask all parents to be especially considerate to our neighbours when parking on the street at such functions. Please note that additional parking for this event is available in the senior school grounds, off Stanmore Road.
Ian Holden
