On Monday 20 August nine boys competed in the RoboCup NSW Junior Open. Samuel Perivolaris, Mark Elwaw, Connor Mills, Ethan Dickson and Liam Taylor competed in the Junior Search and Rescue event, finishing with a total of 174 points and a credible 31^st place. Dominic Demyane and Joon Tae McFadden took their dance to the song Higher, Faster, Stronger, Better into the Junior Dance event and performed admirably, improving on their regional performance. Finally, Sydney Regional winner’s Rhett Schlaphoff and Jackson Sumich took their Thriller Dance through the rounds. They performed brilliantly and made the final to finish in the top 5 of NSW.

The RoboCup Club has finished for 2012. I will be looking for new enthusiastic and creative boys to be part of a new Robotics Club for the final two weeks of Term 3 and beginning of Term 4. Stay tuned for more details next week.
