On Sunday 9 May our ‘Wyvern Warriors’ took part in the Mother’s Day Classic fun run to raise money for breast cancer research. The event took place on The Bay Run and our team did an amazing job. We had over 220 participants descend on Brent Park in Drummoyne bright and early in the morning. Families from all year groups took part and we even had some special guest appearances by Ms Buining, Miss Leontios and Miss Merchant.

Our effort both on and off the running track was outstanding. Whether it was walking, running or on a scooter, everyone managed to finish the course. Off the track we exceeded all expectations, raising over $31,000 – the most for any team entry nationally!

Thank you to everyone who took part, especially all the Wyvern mums who missed out on their breakfast in bed. A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored our team. We couldn’t have done it without you!
