In Week 8, Year 5 travelled to Bathurst for their annual camp. This year, we were treated to some beautiful weather in the Blue Mountains and Bathurst, which was perfect for visiting the Three Sisters and Jenolan Caves on the way. The camp was located at the Bathurst Goldfields, right on Conrod straight, Mt Panorama. The boys enjoyed a hands-on experience learning about life on the goldfields and colonial Australia. We were also treated to a special musical aboriginal experience, not to mention some great sing-a-longs with Mr Williams! On our return journey, we visited Heritage Park and experienced the Sheep and Cattle drome show. Well done to all boys for an excellent camp. A special thank you to Miss Dillon, Mr Pollard, Mr Jessurun, Mr Baker, Mr Williams, Ms Malkki and Mr Jenson Robilliard for all their hard work and making the camp such a success.
