Rugby has had a long tradition at Newington producing such players as Phil Kearns, Nick Farr-Jones and more recently Allan Alaalatoa. Dedicated Past Parents, Barry Ross, Mark Bland (ON 1984) and Rod Bosman (ON 1978) have collectively contributed to create 150 Year of Newington Rugby History which will be launched at the Rugby Lunch in 2019.
