K – 2 Artists of the Week

Kindergarten

Max Davies KW    

Kindergarten have been exploring the work of Mondrian.  They created a mixed media Mondrian inspired artwork, carefully thinking about composition.  Max has used primary colours in an interesting way and has shown great craftsmanship and balance in his finished piece.  Well done, Max.

Year 2

Hamish Walker 2H    

Jay Ziri 2S

Year 2 are exploring basic fundamental skills in figurative drawing.  They began by sketching stick men to look at proportion and pose and they have been learning to shade in order to  add form.  Hamish and Jay worked really hard to create well resolved finished pieces.  Great work, boys!
