On Monday 10^th of October, as part of the Eco Warriors inquiry learning unit, Year 6 travelled across Sydney to continue their study on plant and animal adaptations. Each class went to different places, with 6H – Wetlands Excursion (Bonna Point Reserve, Kurnell); 6K – Bushland Excursion (Camp Kedron, Ingleside); 6J – Rock Platform Excursion (Warringah Surf Rescue, Anzac Ave, Collaroy); 6B – Sand Dunes Excursion (Marine Esplanade, North Cronulla). Students had a wonderful time and learnt many new things about native habitats in each of these areas. Thank you to the excursion coordinators, AUSECO, and Mr King for organising such a wonderful learning experience.
