A Message from Mr Holden

As we near the end of another very busy term at Wyvern I want to reflect on some wonderful community events that have taken place recently.

Our inaugural maths week provided a terrific opportunity for parents and sons to enjoy some challenging and fun activities. I thank the P&F for supporting the ‘Professor Maths’ family maths workshops.

Last Friday we had a tremendous turn out for the Father’s day breakfast. Good conversation, good food and good coffee was the order of the day. Again thank you to the P F for their generous support of this event.

Next week on Wednesday 16th September the P&F are supporting our bi-annual musical ‘The Pirates of Penzance’. The show will feature every student from Years 5 and 6. We are looking forward to an exciting evening and I acknowledge the tremendous support of the P&F Creative Arts Group, parent volunteers and staff who have worked extremely hard to prepare for the event.

At the end of this term Ms Carmen Kruithoff, one of our K-2 Teacher Aides will leave Wyvern to pursue further study. Ms Kruithoff has given wonderful service to the boys of Wyvern boys over many years and we wish her every success in her future endeavours.
