K – 2 Artists of the Week

This week’s Artists of the Week are Gus Klineberg (KB) and Nicholas Antipas (2H).

Gus used bark very carefully instead of paper to draw on, telling the Aboriginal story of the Milky Way.

Nicholas was able to experiment with filter paper, texta and water to create a beautiful Koi wind puppet.

Years 3 – 6 Artists of the Week

Year 4

Year 4 completed their beautiful butterfly/insect block prints, making 2 prints from the one ‘block’. You can see these exciting prints on level 1, near the Year 4 classrooms.

Well done to Zachary Nguyen for his amazing printing making skills.

Year 3

Year 3 have studied New Year’s Eve as part of their Celebration unit. Oscar McLeod’s New Year’s Eve ‘Fireworks’ over Sydney Harbour Bridge is an exceptional chalk pastel drawing.

Well Done Oscar.
