Year 4 were lucky to have some exciting cars visiting this term. The boys have been engaged in drawings for an ‘Art Car’, based on the BMW Art car series. Various renowned artists painted BMW cars in their own particular style.

The boys made observational drawings, so as to make an Art Car of their own. This topic links in nicely to their science topic of ‘Smooth Moves’. The boys also viewed a video on Ken Done and his approach to how he decorated his ‘Art Car’. He chose colours that were like parrots and parrot fish, bright ‘fast’ colours that would help the car ‘fly’.
