Years 3 – 6 Artists of the Week

Year 3

Year 3 made a collage about Nick Bottom from Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’.

Congratulations to Finn Dauphinee for making an interesting and humorous ‘Nick Bottom’

Year 5 & 6

Year 5 and 6 made swords for Shakespeare week.

These swords were a mixture of skills, such as plaiting string, using air drying clay to make filigree, designing pommels and hilts then adding jewels and spray painting to make them look realistic. The boys were very inventive and creative with their swords, and they are all on display outside the Year 5 classrooms and the downstairs open learning area. Well done Year 5 and 6.
