K – 2 Artists of the Week

Throughout Term 4, Year 2 students have explored Japanese Art.   They have learnt about the symbol of the Koi fish and the element of water.  They have worked in a variety of media in a range of forms and have explored many new techniques.  Using oil pastels and poster paints, Year 2 have created their own ‘Koi in Summer Rain’ artworks.  Qasim, Hugo and Flynn displayed a great use of colour, line and pattern on their finished pieces.  Well done boys!
