Year 2 Bee Talk
Tim Lilley is a Year 2 father at Wyvern. One of his hobbies is bee keeping. Year 2 have been studying living things with arthropods or as we call them – ‘Mini Beasts’ as a focus this term. The year 2 students have been particularly fascinated with our studies into the features of bees. Tim came in to talk to the boys about the Science of caring for living things like bees and harvesting honey. The excitement could best be described as ‘a buzz’. The boys had so many questions and used their observational skills to answer many of Tim’s carefully crafted questions. Everyone enjoyed the great photos, slow motion bee footage, the equipment and Tim’s highly engaging talk. A big thank you to Tim Lilley and the Lilley family for their support of STEM at Wyvern.
