Year 5 Learning Showcase – STEM and Museum of Change
On Thursday 15th September, Year 5 conducted their annual Term 3 Learning Showcase. This year, we focused on two aspects: STEM in Primary Schools and the Museum of Change. Boys and their parents were involved in 6 different STEM activities, including sherbet making, M&M and water observations, a build a bridge challenge, robotics, and a mathematics estimation and volume challenge. In addition, boys shared the culmination of their learning of Term 3, exhibited as the ‘Museum of Change’. Through History, Geography, Science and English, boys conducted learning activities and inquiry based research to answer the question: ‘How do catalytic events change our lives?’. Boys researched, investigated, analysed and presented their learning. Congratulations to all boys for their hard work and fantastic learning.
