Banksia Project Event – 16th February 2017
The Banksia Project is making change by focusing on prevention and recovery in a positive and empowering way. We are doing this by engaging men who may identify as mentally well, and those who may be suffering in silence to unite together in positive practices together as mates.
We will help men manage common life challenges:
- Stress at work
- Alcohol and Drug Abuse
- Relationship break down
- Helping a friend who is suffering
- Mental Illness
The Banksia Project (www.thebanksiaproject.com.au) is growing and 2017 will mark our expansion into the university network. We are very proud to be working with UTS Health & Psychology and The Black Dog Institute in presenting our next Garden Rooms at Leighton Hall – John Niland Scientia Building – University of New South Wales with our guest speakers being Margaret Cuneen SC and Mitchell Pearce (Roosters Captain)
The event will take place on the 16th February 2017 from 7pm – 8:30pm. We would like to extend the invitation to yourself and any of your members. ITS FREE!
