WriteOn Winner – Ren Clarke
WriteOn is an annual writing competition for NSW students in Years 1-6 held by NESA. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to interpret an image and create text using their imagination. Using for inspiration a photo of coloured hats, students wrote a short, imaginative piece of up to 500 words. With over 400 entries, Ren Clarke in Year 2 won the Gold Award for the statewide WriteOn Competition and will receive a copy of The Best of WriteOn 2019, featuring his story. The ceremony was held on Friday 23 August where he received the award from Minister of Education and Early Childhood Learning, Sarah Mitchell . We are very proud of his fantastic achievement.
